- Each accepted paper, including full and short papers in the Research, Application, Industry, and Special Session tracks, must have at least one FULL (non-student) registration (IEEE Member, Non-member, or IEEE Life Member). Papers without a FULL registration will not be published in the proceedings.
- Each FULL (non-student) registration can upload up to 2 accepted papers. The first paper is included with conference registration. The second paper requires that the registered author is an (co-)author on both papers and the additional paper fee (£190) is paid for the second paper.
- Page limits are strict. Page limits include references. Up to 2 additional pages per accepted paper may be purchased against a fee (£75 per page). Please double-check the page limit allowed in your track.
- Author registration must be completed before 8 September.

Registrations cancelled before Friday 12th September 2025 will receive a full refund.
No refunds can be processed after this date.

The 12th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA) will be held at the University of Birmingham’s hotel and conference centre, at Edgbaston Park Hotel.
Opened in 2018, Edgbaston Park Hotel is a contemporary building, set in a peaceful spot on our Edgbaston campus, which is also a conservation area. This beautiful leafy setting is only minutes away from Birmingham city centre.

Train
Birmingham New Street Train Station is a hub for travel from across the country, and links directly with University via a high-frequency service that takes only six minutes. This train usually leaves Birmingham New Street from Platform 12, with a final destination of Bromsgrove or Redditch.

University Station is a ten-minute walk from the hotel, and a two-minute walk from the centre of University of Birmingham’s campus.
The easiest way to get to us is to walk past the University’s Main Library and Teaching and Learning Building (Ring Road North), up the hill towards North Gate on Pritchatts Road. Turn right and cross at the pedestrian crossing – the University’s iconic clocktower should be behind you.
Continue walking on Pritchatts Road until you see the entrance of the multi-storey North East Car Park. Turn left here and walk past the Centre for Human Brain Health (CHBH). Edgbaston Park Hotel will be on your left.
Bus
Frequent bus services run from the city centre. Numbers X61, 63, X64 and 886 travel to the University’s Edgbaston campus, with the most convenient campus stops located on the X64 route. Number 98 serves the Medical School and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You can catch most of these buses directly outside Birmingham New Street station, on Smallbrook Queensway.
Maps can be found throughout the city centre indicating bus stop locations, and bus stops will display route information and times. Pay for your ticket on the bus with cash, or using a contactless card. The journey takes around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

Taxi
There are taxi ranks at New Street Station and throughout the city centre. If you hail a cab, you’ll may need to pay the driver in cash. The Uber and Ola apps are also available in Birmingham.
The journey to the hotel from the city centre takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Car
The hotel’s postcode is B15 2RS.
If you’re approaching from the M6, leave at Junction 6 (signposted Birmingham Central) to join the A38 (M). Continue on the A48, then take the B4127. Turn left onto Wheeley’s Lane then continue straight until you reach the hotel (on your right).
Approaching from M42 north? Leave at Junction 8 to join the M6 northbound and follow the instructions above. If you’re approaching from the southwest, leave the M5 at Junction 4 (signposted Birmingham SW) to join the A38. And, if you’re approaching from the M40, head west on the M42 from Junction 3A. At Junction 3 take the A435 exit (Birmingham South).
When you arrive, you’ll find complimentary parking right outside the hotel, including Blue Badge-only bays. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If no spaces are available, you can also park for free on the ground floor of the University’s multi-storey North East Car Park (a two-minute walk from the hotel).

The Campus Sculpture Trail allows you to explore the range of styles, subjects and shapes of sculpture on the University’s Edgbaston campus. The Faraday Bronze Sculpture was commissioned to mark the centenary of the University of Birmingham’s Royal Charter, this is located near the train station.

Digbeth

Stratford-Upon-Avon

Warwick Castle
Soak up 1100 years of history in one day. The stone buildings in place at Warwick Castle today date from the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, although records show a motte and bailey castle was first constructed here in 1068.History buffs will love the sense of scale, the thoughtful exhibits and the extensive grounds, landscaped by Capability Brown. Oxford
This historic university city is a must-see for any academic visitor to the UK. 38 colleges of the prestigious university are nestled within a city of buttery Cotswold stone and winding mediaeval streets. Visit Magdalen College’s deer park and Christ Church Cathedral. Book a tour of the Bodleian to see Duke Humfrey’s remarkable fifteenth-century library. Take a punt along the Thames (here known as the Isis) for a relaxed view of those famous ‘dreaming spires’, then have a drink at the Eagle and Child where the ‘Inklings’ C.S. Lewis, J.R.R.
